A200 faulty after 2 weeks, but now A210 is available. Should i request refund?
Hi,
This is my first post and hopefully i've not posted it in the wrong forum. I recently purchased an A200 from Pixmania and after two weeks it developed a fault. The unit would not load the main menu and after several emails and a response from Syabas I was informed it was a potential fault with the motherboard and to return the faulty unit to Pixmania. I have received confirmation from Pixmania that the unit is being inspected by the manufacturer and a technical report would follow within 21 days. I have emailed Pixmania requesting a reponse, but in the meantime I have learned that an A210 is available. I am within my rights to request a full refund and therefore allowing me to purchase an A210. Or, should I request an A210 bearing in mind the unit I bought went faulty after two weeks, or a little after. Many thanks for your responses. |

Like any electronics it died in its period of time. Electronics either last less then a month or a long time. I would pick a new reseller though. The point of people using a reseller is not have to wait for an RMA the reseller usually swaps it out right away then sends the faulty unit back to syabas and gets a new product. You the buyer should not have to wait for them to send the board to syabas to be looked at you get no benefits of going with a reseller then and should have bought from syabas direct

Pixmania had a terrible reputation. Think they have been bought out by Comet but they still seem to be giving a poor service to you. Dump them.
Get it direct from PCH or from someone with a decent reputation. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

Did send my new C-200 RMA last week (Fuse broken), if it takes 21 days I'll have my money back and buy it somewhere else
