is there a way to save YouTube channels as favorites?

Hi,

I was hoping to be able to select a particular YouTube channel (found via search) and save it so that I can go back to it later without re-searching for it. Surely there's a way to do this, but I don't see how?

Nope, isn't there.
The current version of the Youtube app is missing some functionality in my opinion:

- No login so no subscription updates whatsoever.
- You can view your own favorites but you have to search for your username everytime.
- No 'bookmarks' / favorites support from the app itself etc etc.

The streaming works great but i don't really like to use it in it's current form.. takes me ages to find a video.

We're going to look into updating the youtube app with some more functionality but gotta work through their API's so we'll see.

That'd be nice, the quality of the videos is the same as on the pc so i'd love to use it some more.. my thumb however disagrees with me because of the excessive work he has to do

Definetely is pain in the ass to use the remote to type in what you want to look for in youtube app, specialy when you use just a couple of channels.
Thanks for the effort anyway if you bring us a new youtube app

There's another thread somewhere which explains how you can save you favourites. It involves logging in on a PC first from what I remember. A search should pick up the post that im thinking of for you.
