RE: lundftpd installation, configuration and setup package
nvm i'm just an idiot
usechroot = "/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/Video/"; works in fact better than "/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DRIVE/Video/"; next issue : browsing trough filezilla works fine..however, trough the windows explorer not (often from some remote site i don't have any ftp client installed and just typing "ftp.mydomain.blabla" in windows explorer reveals to be very quick and usefull) first i saw that i need to : anonymous=yes; or win explorer don't even ask's for user/pass Now, from remote, when I input my username/password, comes this (classic) error message "make sure you have permission blablabla, entering pasv blablabla" I remember that, with other ftp server software, disabling the PASV mode solved this error message However from my local network it work's..clearly this is something nat related..maybe the pasv mode is intented, from "WAN view" to work behing a reverse proxy or some dmz ? I tried to forward the 4004-4114 port range -> not working.. my best guess is that it uses some random port for the pasv .. something else : i created some user with UF_ALL rights (intended to replace the default "ftpuser" account). changed the .conf file everywhere i saw some "maximum login count's" option to -1, but it seems that it's still locked to 2 simultaneous connections with this user ? what am i missing ? Thanks for ur help
