[AUDIO] A100 & HD-DTS pass through ?
HI All
sorry if this has been asked before I have searched and just couldn't find the answer . ![]() I have a A100 which I have been muxing films down converting fromm HD -DTS noI am having to merge audio from lots of files I am getting warnings about to many frames . when these warnings occure the A100 video freezes at each join ![]() it plays flawlessly in BSplayer on my PC . which means I need to remux to AC3 ... I thought that if I buy an AMp that decodes HD-DTS this would solve my problem - so the question is will the A100 pass through HD-DTS or do i just buy a c200?? many thanks for all input help

Hi PTG thanks for the reply , yeah I am not sure but as movies make use of the playlist more and more it is coming more apparent ( bring back the single m2ts file )I am using tsmuxer and don't change any settings it works some times no problem eg inception , but say on 'Salt' I get this overlapping frame found at time stamp 00.03.15 . if I demux the video only it plays no problem but add the audio as dts and it freezes at every overlap . it must be the decoding method as it plays on the PC through nero and BSplayer without fault . I do need to update the firmware so will try that but from the release notes I don't think it will change much thanks again M |

RE: [AUDIO] A100 & HD-DTS pass through ?
Ok I have done some reading , boy it is hard to find this as all searches bring back DTS only problems .
for the record if anybody else finds this post I hope it helps. read this link http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=22522 basically tsmuxer can't join seemless branched audio with overlaps , it dropps data which none of the NMT players like ....including the C200. ( a PC play back is much more forgiving ) there seems to be no way to join and keep the DTS audio in these cases ( unless somebody can tell me how ) you need to use EAC3TO i used CLOWN BD and muxs to AC3 and the movie plays no problem . The Audio IMO is not as good as the DTS I get , but that might be my amp it is quieter and voices are less distinct and effects a way louder . if there is a way to join DTS-HD or DTS please please please tell me ![]() hope that helps somebody |
