Thanx for this update. Noticed already that the wireless connection established automatically. Before this update I had to confirm wireless settings to connect after a restart... then had to restart Usenet client etc...annoying..

Thanks Syabas! I have just installed the new firmware on my a-110 over internet.
No problems with install whatsoever. Just had to reinstall some of the other apps (busybox)!

MKV header compression tested and all media I had are now playing flawlessly!!! No need to remux :-D
NTFS write is very, very handy feature. So far I had to download everything to my PC to save it on USB drive that was formatted under Windows. Now, just checked and I can use Midnigh Commander and just copy files over from PCH to USB drive!

All I am missing now is FLAC support in MKV container :-)

Anyway, finally I upgraded the FW after sticking to 2009 release, as the most stable, for the past year. THANK YOU!

12. Minor tweak for MKV DTS drop out issue

Just tested with a mkv file witch i know give some drop outs with former firmwares.
It is gone, so maybey this is it!

No problems with ISO whatsoever, so looks realy good

Now I don't need to restart the wireless network anymore (#/etc/init.d/S40network restart) in the start_app.sh file

Finally shuffle music playback! I have been waiting for this since i purchased this device.
Unfortunately the flac playback problem i posted before is not fixed in this release.


When this is fixed I can finally enjoy my music. At the moment after a while the device stops musicplayback and returns to the folder showing the files. It will not play music again until reboot of the device.
The rest seems to work fine in this release.

I hope you can slightly change the layout of the music playback screen.
At the moment the screen is too small to display long song titles. I think it is better to show all text at the bottom of the screen using the entire width of the screen and showing the album art above it or use a scrolling bar method, the kind you already use when you list long filenames.

Sounds awesome. I had real trouble last update with losing all my settings for NZBget, and NZBMatrix, etc. Should this be a problem again? I guess it's safe to take screen shots just in case?

i havent updated my firmware for aaaages because the device was working fine... however, im interested in the fix for header compression...

if i install this firmware will it wipe my internal hard drive?
