HOWTO: Mount NMT share on Windows Mobile
I have A-110 and iPaq 211 with WM6. I have only tested this configuration.
Programs used: 1. Network plugin for File Explorer v1.0 2. PHM Registry Editor v0.70 First I changed in Network Adapters>My network card connects to: Work. Someone suggested that this should be enough but it wasnt, I just could finnaly see that A-110 has a share but still could not connect/mount it. It could be that it has no effect on solution below but I never tried connects to:The Internet. And I will not because everything works for me and I dont want to brake it Experience taught me that something as trivial sometimes ends up eating your time and Id rather use this time to write this down. Solution was found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost...tcount=244 Required registry changes: HKLM\Comm\Redir, "SmbSignature" set to "0" HKLM\Comm\SecurityProviders\NTLM, "LmCompatibilityLevelClient" set to "1" HKLM\Comm\Redir\AllowedAuthMethods set to 3 Reset the device. You can mount now. If you dont know how to mount: Settings>Connections>Network Plugin: - Enable Network folder - new>browse>refresh>A-110 ; tap and hold: share > mount drive Drive will show in your Network folder. I may be the only one who needs it but if it helps 1 its more than enough. Regards mkkm |
