JPEG files appear as text on screen
First I am sorry if this was discussed and answered but my search both in google and here did not find anything. I guess I did use the right keywords.

What I want:
I make a web page containing many jpg thumbnails each of them pointing to a larger picture which is physically in the same folder.

The problem:
I open the page on c-200, the thumbnails look fine, navigation too, but when I click on any of them, the corresponding large picture does not show as picture but instead appears as text on the TV screen i.e. nmt does not handle jpegs properly. Isn't that weird ? Why ? What am I doing wrong ?

here is the beginning of my web page:

Code:
<HTML>
<HEAD><TITLE>Boston</TITLE></HEAD>
<BODY bgcolor="#ffff99" text="#000099" link="#660066" vlink="#cc99cc" alink="#33ff99">
<TABLE>
<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER><FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-Serif" size="+1"><B>Boston</B></FONT></TD></TR>
<P>
<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER><TABLE>
<TR>
<TD ALIGN=CENTER VALIGN=BOTTOM><FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-Serif" size="-2"><A HREF="kokoshka.jpg"><IMG SRC="TN_kokoshka.JPG" ALT="kokoshka.jpg"><BR>kokoshka.jpg</A></FONT></TD>
<TD ALIGN............

RE: JPEG files appear as text on screen
Try:
Code:
<A HREF="kokoshka.jpg" POD>

The POD (photo/picture on demand) tells the NMT to show a photo.

There's some more details on this in the NMT Wiki, key search words: Technical Documentation

RE: JPEG files appear as text on screen
dc11ab,
Thanks for the answer.
Adding POD in the code as you suggest has no effect.

RE: JPEG files appear as text on screen
Perhaps it can be done by tweaking this
Code:
<a href="MUTE" pod="Mode,Reserved ,Photo URL">Sample</a>

See section 4.1 in the technical documentation for "Browser Extension Specification"
