Youtube app availability

Sorry for this nooby question, but I'd like to know if the youtube application will be available again on the A-100.
I'm new here, so I don't know the whole story about this, if it's a licence problem with the A-100 or something like that...

all the videos are availible as rtsp:Video.3gp video files

and to add:
http://www.penguin.cz/~utx/amr there are 3gp linux codecs

and ffmpeg should support them by default?

They cant support it. Youtube broke off all settop box applications that dont use flash interface. A few got away with it by using the youtube.com/xl but i think they inked a deal with youtube.

I watch YouTube all the time on my A-100 (also Hulu, Netflix, Crackle etc) using PlayON. Go to http://www.playon.tv . You'll need a fairly powerful Windows PC to install it on. The more powerful the better. But it just runs invisibly in the background.

can you some how naviagte or search through youtube?

my main problem isn't that i can stream youtube or any other video to my pch, in the worst case i use vlt to open it an then stream it to the popcornhour but that's an extreme hassle :-(

i do not own a iphone or ipod/pad to control my pch, and it would be nice to find a way to search and play video from youtube.....

does this "server" software also allow searching with an usb keyboard or Remote on my pch then i go for it!

you are the best

- trial version downloaded
- executed on my pc
- the service appears automatically on the main popcorn menu
- and then youtube videos work fine, even in hd !

the youtube and the pandora services seem to be available even after the 14 trial days...I hope so ^^

just one thing, it's not possible to search for a video, but you can have access to your user account...so just one thing to do: channels subscriptions !

yes, but it's better than nothing ^^

- they are a lot of "interesting" channels, like movie trailers, video games news, fun stuff etc
- it's also great to have access to our favorite playlists in HQ from the pch =)

i found a plugin/ CSI App
ytrl which runs on the A110 and it does youtube very well!

I've tried to install it with the NMT CSI, but I get the following message:

or that you don't have any application installed prior, i have some like telnet lighttpd...

you need lightttpd as it runs on :9999 with its webinterface + did you unpack the zip file, which you should leave it like it was.
