Web Problem with Spider-Man

I have a running problem with Spider-Man. There have been several TV shows with this name. Most include the hyphen. I was having problems with the shows being recognized as The Man, a film with Samuel L. Jackson. (One show was picked up as Tarzan ?!). I know a hyphen is supposed to be seen as a space, but this is a recuring type of problem, words immediately [ie no space on either side] prior to hyphens being ignored. Experience with TheRenamer, which tends to throw in such hyphens at a moment's notice, highlighted this. So I just leave out the hyphen.

However, there were two live action series made in 1978, one in Hollywood and the other in Japan. I have the latter, and no matter what I do (even tried phonetic spelling from Japanese), I can't get 100% accurate scanning. I also have a problem scanning the 1981 cartoon series, Spider-Man (not Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends). Both of these shows have quotes around the name in IMDB, so a search in imdb for e.g. Spider-Man 1981 comes up with nothing, or the Amazing Friends show, although a search for just Spider Man does find it.

I am currently using R1827. Other than this, and one movie (The Emperor's New Groove) coming up in what appears to be a Scandanavian(?) language, I am impressed with the latest versions. They certainly seem quicker in use (although 7,500 items still takes a long time to scan), and the look of the posters is much better.
