Question on New Order Transit Time

Hi,

I've got a question regarding delivery time. I know that when you place an order, t will get assigned to a shipment batch. What I don't know is how long it typically takes to deliver.

I was thinking of getting one as a gift...If I were to order it and make it into the Jan 20th batch, when would I expect to receive it? I ask because I need it in a narrow time window (by Jan 28th).

The last batch lists a Jan 13th ship date, but still shows as pending to ship. Does that mean the last batch is late, or is there just a delay in updating the status?

I'm not asking for a guarantee, but a typical time would be useful.

[Edit]: If it matters, I'd be shipping to Colorado USA.

I guess it depends on your local courier network in your country. When i ordered mine it shipped overnight from Hong Kong to Australia (Adelaide). Excellent. But then thanks to DHL it spent 11 days getting from the DHL depot at Adelaide airport to my suburb in Adelaide! 9 of those days it just sat at the depot despite assurances from DHL customer support that the item had been "arranged for delivery". However, my experience is probably not the norm.

Factory to USA seems to be the quickest service, usually 4 days from factory to door. In UK its 5 days.
