send nzb to nzbget by iPhone/iPad/iPod NO PC

I don't know if this help for someone...

How to send nzb files to popcorn hour by iPhone/iPad/iPod...

No JailBreak required.

Only need FTP On The Go Pro app.

1. open app.
2. go to Settings tab
3. Turn on "Show Hidden Files"
4. go to "FTP" tab, enter popCorn information then connect.
5. go to /.nzbget/nzb
6. go to web view tab
7. enter any nzb website that you can download .nzb file http://nzbindex.com
8. After you downloaded .nzb file, it will save on "Saved Files" tab.
9. go to "Saved Files" tab, select file .nzb then click upload icon.
10. The file .nzb will upload to your popcorn. If on Transfers tab errors, just restart the Ftp On the Go app. it should be ok.

Hi, i installed ftp on the go pro on my IPAD and followed your instructions.

From point 8, i won't be able to download the file. I have selected the files, pushed the create NZB button but nothing happens. There is no nzb file in the saved file tab.

Where does it go wrong?

Hey, have you seen the iOS PCH NZB app ?
Seems easier IMHO, but it's 2.39€ and only supports nzbmatrix (VIP user). It would be interesting for them to add more search engines, but it's a pretty good thing nonetheless.

Also, you can use the web interface.
I just tried with iCab mobile: download the nzb from binsearch, then upload it via the mobile interface.

I wrote an iOS-App for nzbget, which might be an alternative. It's called "myNZBGet" and is available from the App-Store. Just check it out, maybe it's usefull...

I tried the free version (myNZBGetFree) on my iPad. It doesn`t work with NZBGET on my Popcorn Hour A-210.
Another app on Android does work with the NZBGET server on my PH.

the new app version (1.5) should be able to connect. This version is currently under review by Apple and should be available around the weekend from experience.

Both versions are allways in sync... The free version has just less features... So, yes, the free version will be updated, too...

Just received the update on my iPad. The free version can now connect to the nzbget server on my PCH.
So installed the payed version to directly download NZBs to my PCH from the iPad.

When I search for NZBs and add them via the + symbol it doesn`t work. I get the message "Failed to parse nzb-file".

Can you fix this little problem?

Which NZBGet version do you have installed on your PCH? There is a bug in version 0.6.0 with this symptom. This has been fixed with version 0.7.0. - If you still have the old version installed, is there a way you could update to a newer one?

Hi,

I don't know how to check which version NZBGet i have installed, or how to install a newer version. Can anyone help me with this? I do have the latest firmware and nmt versions installed.
