External USB HDD not recognized
I tried to copy large (>8GB) files to my C-200 using WiFi connection, but it takes a few hours for each (~1.5-2MB/s transfer rate). Then I tried to connect an external NTFS formatted SATA USB HDD (2.5" Samsung 320GB) but it was not recognized. My NMT was practically freezed until I disconnected the HDD. When doing this the correct volume label of my HDD appeared for a second in the upper right corner of the TV screen. I have a built in 2.5" 650GB SATA Samsung HDD inside as well. There were only a few files on the external disk. Neither USB port worked. How can I fix this problem? Sad

RE: External USB HDD not recognized
Does the external drive have any sort of strange partitions on the front of it like a recovery partition?

RE: External USB HDD not recognized
Does it require 2 x USB to power the USB HDD, or was it attached via a powered USB hub or the enclosure externally powered?

There is a single NTFS partition nothing else. When I previously formatted the HDD to FAT32 there was a small additional partition. The USB port also did not work when the HDD was formatted as FAT32.

The HDD works properly with other computers using only a single USB port.
Is the current limit lower than 500mA on NMT USB ports? When I get home I try to use 2 USB ports to power my HDD.
