Oversight in collaboration with Sickbeard and Couchpotato
Hi guys,
So since it seems the NMTDVR project is abandoned, I am looking towards other applications that could takeover it's tasks. Popular programs seem to be Sickbeard and Couchpotato. A nice plus to these applications compare to NMTDVR for instance is that they also create an nfo (at least Sickbeard seems to). So my question is do any of you already use one of these apps and what would be the best way to use it with Oversight? I think these programs could help Oversight recognize downloads better. But am I right? PCH-A100 (FW 01-17-100317-15-POP-402-000) (00-17-091216-15-POP-402 NMT Apps) Philips 28PW9611/01 PAL SD, connected with Composite Old skool

Sickbeard searches for NZB's of tv-shows en Couchpotato does both Torrents and NZB's and also can be used for movies. Couchpotato is just slightly behind in development. Since I use usenet mostly torrentwatch won't help me out. The only downside for now is that both applications don't work directly on the NMT. But maybe someone will make a version for it sometime. They are both originally Linux applications, though, with also ports for Windows. I'm assuming Feedtime and NZBget isnt an option as you want Torrents AND NZB option?
Can you use feedtime to search for Torrents and Nzbs? I can't rememeber as I only use Feedtime for NZBs with NZBget |

RE: Oversight in collaboration with Sickbeard and Couchpotato
Well Feedtime indeed is only NZB based, as far as I know. Strictly taken If one uses Feedtime AND Torrentwatch, you'd probably be done. But these two are only usable for series I'm afraid. And they work with RSS
Sickbeard and CP don't. Adding new item is said to be very easy with these applications and you also (like the other apps) can be configured for a certain video quality. CP is also able to look for movies, and can download trailers as well but that might be a problem for Oversight in the current state. The biggest plus, however would be the extra option of nfo creation, as a backup if Oversight might fail to recognize a file.
