Subtitle - multiple ext .srt
Most of my mkv files have multiple subtitles embedded in them. If I were to place a external .srt named the same as the movie then this force the player to use the external .srt file and losing option to pick the embedded subs. Is there a way around this ?

I know I could use mkvmerge to remux the .mkv to include the external .srt file thus giving me access to all subs, but this is time consuming and I want to minmize Write operations to the disk.

I also investigated possibly naming external srt files with different ending. ( ie.

Batman.eng.srt
Batman.jpn.srt
Batman.esp.srt
Batman.chn.srt

but thru testing I found out the srt file name has to be named exactly like the movie. So the only workaround is to remux ?

I would like to request a fix to allow Multiple batman.xxx.srt naming be picked up or a fix to external srt cutting off access to embedded subs.

Thank u very much

RE: Subtitle - multiple ext .srt
Even if you rename listed subtitles with two characters like .en, .tr, .fr ...etc, you have to change subtitle language from preferences every time you want to watch with another language. Sucks. Angry
