Squeezebox Server is now becoming Logitech Media Server, with built in upnp/DLNA server.

Any chance that the 200-series will se a firmware upgrade with an upgrade of the upnp/ DLNA client?

If gapless playback via Upnp/ DLNA from LMS could work....that would be something:-)

No, afraid not. Just got a C-300 - no luck streaming from Logitech Media Server there either.

It looks like the problem of running squeezeslave is that it depends on the alsa drivers. Isn't it possible to port the squeezeslave code (protocol/audio) to a flash gui with the possibilities to use the audio features of the flash interface.
