MLMJ USB on the C200
Trying to get a USB hard drive to work with My lil Movie Jukebox on the C200. Under the location variables for the nmt It seems I am not addressing it properly. This is what I have file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/USB_DRIVE_A1//Bluray/. Bluray is the folder my movies are in. I don't understand what the A1 B1 etc means.Could someone help me. Thanks

RE: MLMJ USB on the C200
My understanding is that the "USB_DRIVE_A1" part is how the PCH identifies the USB drive, and that the name is assigned by the PCH when it boots and sees the USB drive attached. I think it should be named "USB_DRIVE_A-1" or USB_DRIVE_B-1". You may want to check out the Hardware wiki at http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wiki/i.../USB_Drive.

RE: MLMJ USB on the C200
Still no luck. I think I have tried everything. do I use period or forward slash after A-1. I have 2 internal HDS a 2.5 HD and a 3.5 HD. Should I be using A1 B1 or C1 and my usb drive label is Blu-Ray and my folder with the movies is Bluray. This was the last one I tried file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/USB_DRIVE_B-1/Blu-Ray/Bluray. I appreciate all the help. Thanks

RE: MLMJ USB on the C200
Have you been through the MLMJ instructions at http://www.treasure-cove.net/moviejukebox.htm? Especially Appendix 4? If so, what "Sources" are showing up on your PCH? Can you post the following:

1. What is showing in "Sources" on your PCH?

2. Can you post an example of the html line containing the movie link from one of your export's "detail" html files. It should look something like this:

Code:
<a class="title2" href="file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/ARAGORN/MOVIES/Shrek the Third [2007]/Shrek the Third [2007].avi" name="Play1" type="video/mpegurl" vod=""><img class="buttons" src="../Resources/Buttons/play1.png" onfocussrc="../Resources/Buttons/play_selected1.png"/> Movie</a>

3. What you have for entries in the EXPORT "Location Variables" tab for each of your PC/NMT Movie Location Pairs. (Include the text entries for both the PC and NMT locations.

4. The full path to your movie entries as seen from your PC. i.e. the path of your movie link entries in Movie Collector.

RE: MLMJ USB on the C200
I have read the appendix 4 from MLMJ. Do I need to do step 3 It is not shared from another computer? I am using a 3.5 HD pluged into a duel bay dock with a usb cable to my PCH.

1) When I hit the source button on remote under the usb sybol I see my hard drive and movies. //Blu-Ray and the folder my movies are in Bluray.
Blu-Ray name of HD. Folder name Bluray

2) Lost me on the html movie link. How do I get this is this? Is this in my Y drive of the PCH after I export.

3)Location Variables PC W:\Bluray\ NMT file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/USB_DRIVE_A-1/Bluray/ Which is the latest I tried.

4)A movie link from MC W:\Bluray\Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets.iso And this is what I have on the location variables locator on MLMJ file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/
file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/USB_DRIVE_A-1/

I hope this is what you need. Thanks for the help very appreciated.

Will your movies play Ok if you select them from there?

Have a look at the first image in Appendix 4 (http://www.treasure-cove.net/appendix4.htm). i.e. where the screen image says:

01 Hard Disk
02 Network Browser
03 QNAP::Qmultimedia

Can you find the same screen on your C-200? What devices does it show (If you have a hard drive installed your system may read 01 SATA_DISK or SATA_DISK_A, for example). Post back what your "Sources" are from this screen.

Quote:2) Lost me on the html movie link. How do I get this is this? Is this in my Y drive of the PCH after I export.

When you run the EXPORT program where to you output the html files? In that folder there will be a sub-folder called "details". Pick one of the html files and find the line that looks like the one from my previous post, and copy/paste it here. You will need to "paste" it in between "code" tags - the "#" symbol on the forum post formatting ribbon above.

Incidentally, the EXPORT folder must be visible to the PCH (so I assume you are EXPORTING either to the W: drive or to an internal drive on the C200).

RE: MLMJ USB on the C200
Yes my movies will play from the PCH. My screen looks a little different on the network share I have network browser,on the drive icon I have SATA_DISK AND Video_Bay, On the USB icon I have Blu_Ray. On the Y drive internal to the PCH, Where I export to. The details folder has numbered files and when I click on it opens in my browser as a html file. It won't let me copy and paste it.

RE: MLMJ USB on the C200
In order to copy/paste line items from the numbered html files you need to open them in an editor (such as Notepad). But, rather than that I will PM you my email address. Could you please email me the following:

1. one of your numbered html files created by the Export
2. the latest "MLMJ gsb Skin v1 Properties.ini" file from your My Documents\Movie Collector\Templates folder

RE: MLMJ USB on the C200
Hello blief,

The command to watch the movies only work on the PCH not on a pc ...
You can see the menus but can not Play them on the PC ... only the PCH...

That is the Same of all PCH jukeboxes

RE: MLMJ USB on the C200
I found that if you do not name your hard drive when you format it or simply delete any name that was given to it. The Popcorn Hour will give you the proper identification such as USB_DRIVE_C-1 The C-1 could be D-1 E-1 etc. With 2 internal drives in the C-200 The USB Drives on mine were C-1, D-1
