anyone got screenshots of app market in uk

As i'm having trouble getting bbc iplayer and any other uk stuff through the apps market can someone post screenshots of what the market should look like, as i'm sure the screens are different based on which country you are in.

my ip address is detected as being from the uk so would think this has something to do with the firmware - my time zone is set to GMT +0 with BST enabled on the c-200

be grateful for any help on this








is it an issue with syabas not detecting my ip as a uk ip

The BBC iplayer app is on the top row about 2 or 3 from the left IIRC. I have no camera o take a photo but will double check when i'm back home in a few hours.

The Chinese app is still showing on my C200, i can't install it as not in that geo location. I thought that would be the same for BBC iplayer with only those in UK ip ranges allowed to download and install but everyone still seeing it. Doesnt look like its setup that way.

have a look at my post in the bbc iplayer thread - i've posted some shots of the app market and don't see bbc iplayer, and the chinese app which is on the last page it lets me install it without problems

Looked at your pics, you should post them in your first post as well.

You are missing BBC iPlayer, it should be the second app on the first page. It's the only one you are missing. Like you I can now install and launch the Chinese App. Couldn't before I swear.

depends on the app the iplayer app wiill not show for anyone outside the UK. When you submit an app for the app market you pick what countries are allowed to see it.

I mentioned it to werner earlier, he'll also alert people that some aren't seeing it.

also does my country flag show for others as when i'm on the forum none of my posts show it

everyone uses a different geo ip database so hopefully they just need to update theres

i think it might be because of the connection i have - most vdsl connections are done by BT under their Infinity package, while mine is done by a consortium in our area

update: I've just updated to the latest firmware without any issues and still no bbc iplayer

update2: this is now resolved thanks to werner and gang

Hi, I'm in the UK. Just got my C200. Am running the latest firmware and apps from internal USB (as updated via the online option). Any ideas why I'm not seeing iplayer? It works fine through my Humax Foxsat box.

Is there anyone I should be contacting with my IP address?

Help much appreciated
