I guess the industry has to grow up and make it verrrrry easy for a lot of customers / App makers.

Only this way you can get a foothold in the media / TV landscape.

Sure it can be made easier there is 2 ways to do that since 99,9% of all this is about DRM.
1.Lift out the bluray (and possibly dts,ac3 and a couple more licenses) capabilites from the pch (meaning no more bluray(iso,folders,plastic)playing).
2.Convince lawmakers,lawers,and the big morons on top off the big media companys that couldn´t care less about anyone that is beyond them to drop DRM.

Other then that there is not much syabas can do without losing a number of licenses or have to pay much more $$$$$$$.

What they could have done is at least update any nmtapps that have big trouble now and have had for 6 months.
Sure maybe not too the latest verision out there but atleast one that don´t crash and locks up the pch in less then 1 min (ftp,torrent).

And if it´s not to much to ask (which it was) fix the network speed that have been next to useless for 6 months (can play a regular 700mb avi file anything over that stutter).
The FW from last may one year ago works wonderful in both FTP and network speed.

I think i have a memory somewhere thats almost gone that "network" is part of the name "networkmediatank".

Sure the network works if i only watch low quality files so the network speed i can almost tolerate.
But a crashing FTP client for over 6 months that is NOT acceptable at all.
And that was also the culprint for the FW update troubles so if they had fixed that first it would have gone much smother.

So a small warning for anyone out there that have had network speed issues for the last couple off FW but works ok on erlir FW.

If you update you are stuck with crappy network speed until it is fixed so do as i'm going to do WAIT TO UPDATE UNTIL IT'S FIXED
