[A-110] - Sound Problem

Hi,

I have some sound quality problems that just started up. I have had my A-110 for about 2 years and it has never done this before.

The problems only occur with the analog audio outputs (RCA outputs).

1) When a movie is playing the background sound is incredibly loud. So loud that you can just barely hear what the main characters are saying. Things like music and background sounds seem to be amplified. I have found that if I change the audio from stereo to mono that makes the movie watchable but I no longer have stereo sound!

2) I have an USB attached hard drive to my A-110. When ever the hard drive is accessed I can hear a "whining sound" coming out of the speakers.

I have only just got mine but when I did firmware update all the sound disappeared and the only way I could get it back was to do a re-set.

I'm not sure it would help you, but it got my working again. I assume though you would have to install some stuff on again
