Wav files
I am wondering why some of my wav files play and some do not. Some are dts and some are stereo. My apologies if this seems vague.

Yes, I have the same problem with my new C-200, too. Some of my stereo wav file doesn't play. (Firmware version: 02-04-110422-21-POP-408-000) |

RE: Wav files
Look at the mediainfo output and i would bet that its to do with the bitrate/s. Not sure if all are supported.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wav If for example you look at WAV on WIKI you'll see that like AVI/MKV it is a container and can have various compression codecs and bit and sample rates. RE: Wav files
Have a look here:-
http://www.linnrecords.com/linn-download...-type.aspx And here: *192KHz STUDIO MASTERS The Linn Records Website now contains a number of 192KHz Studio Masters in FLAC. Please note that the majority of soundcards and some media players are only capable of playing back at sample rates of up to 96KHz, so it is very important to check using the TEST FILES to see whether your system is 192KHz compatible before you buy any of these downloads. Please note also that the 192KHz files are approximately twice the size of a 96KHz Studio Master and may consequently take up to twice as long to download. Convert some of the test files to WAV and compare with FLAC to see if one can play at higher rates than the other.
