TV Show file structure question
I'm starting to rip my TV show discs and want to know if I have the file structure correct for NMJ, YAMJ, etc. This is what I have:
TV Shows/Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century/Season 1/Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century S01E01.mkv The other question I had is in regards to when the mkv includes both episodes of one show, for example, if it was broadcast as a 2 part episode, but on the disc its all combined. On tvdb it has it broken down as 2 episodes. From what I kind of remember with XBMC you would do something like S01E0102. Is this correct for NMJ, YAMJ, etc? Please advise since I dont want to have to go back and fix everything. Also, Ive notices that on some threads on here people are putting the episode name....is that neccessary if you have S01E01??? Thanks |

RE: TV Show file structure question
S01E01E02 etc is the way you want to name it.. that also works with xbmc if your still using xbmc. NMJ likes that also and IIRC will be getting full yamj nfo support next major update (release date unannounced)
I'm not sure if your using some tool or something for the nfo files, but in the tv root folder you only need 1 for all the files. If there is episode details in them you could also combine them into 1 nfo file instead of separate. Otherwise add in an enhancement request for your specific request. There's a new artwork scanner in testing which can mimic all of xbmc and be adjusted for others. Wouldnt' be a bad idea to see the nfo support expanded for standard xbmc changes for tv show filenames. |

With XBMC, I used to use Ember Media Manager to do the NFO files, cover art, fanart, etc.....would I still be able to use that to carry over to NMJ? I'm a little familiar with YANFOE as well, but if there is another program which will allow me to set everything up, please let me know. I know XBMC has the capability to just scrap everthing internally with the Moviedb or IMDB, but since I have not received my C-200 yet, I dont know if I can do that either. |
