New Usb drive problem, help !
After years of using my A110 my internal 1tb hdd and my 1tb usb drive was starting to get full, I there for bought a new 2.5tb usb drive this weekend.. this was in NTFS format out of the box. I reformated it in to ext3 by conecting it to my Ubuntu workstation.. now the disk was excepted by the nmt started to move all my ISO:s to the new disk.... Got tired of the slow transfer so I connected all disks to the Ubuntu computer. Opened all rights an all disks and started transfering again.. this took 20 hours ..

Ok fine so I now have all my ISO:s on one disk and in alphabetic folders good .. only problem is that when i now try to connect the 2.5tb disk to the nmt I get USB-fault on every try... If i connect to the computer all is fine ... ??? Is there a way to solve this ?

RE: New Usb drive problem, help !
OK, had to do somthing about my problem so i managed to spread all my iso:s to a couple of smaller disk on my ubuntu station. Then i re-formated the 2.5tb disk and made sure that partitiontype was Linux and "type" was EXT3.. transfered all files again !! made a file system check this says file system good. Then I connect the disk to the PCH and it turns up as a unit !! Happy happy, but not for long when i try to access the disk I get to the folder in the root and when i try to get in to that one I get the message The request couldn't be done. ( This is how ever my direct translation from swe so it might not be correct )

I then try to change the permitions settings on the disk giving everybody full access, this doesen't help..

I then do the telnet trick I learn here and this is what I get:
