The install has now been fixed now to use the new gcc-4.4.

Does it work on HDX or Popcorn 100?

At the moment its just for the 200 series. Not sure if the 100 series would be able to run it with its lower cpu. If enougth people ask for it, i may take a look at getting it running.

Sorry guy does not look as if it will work for the A1xx's. the pakages it needs are not done for the A1xx series. I will keep checking for updates but dont hold your breath

Ahh, darn it. I've been waiting for Couchpotato and Sickbeard to come to the PCH. And now they're there it's not for me

How about a Guide for those Average Joes out there plus those that don't know what these apps are?

Also tell members what the two apps do and how they differ etc.

UPDATE

I have gotten sickbeard running on my A110. I should be able to run couchpotato aswell but for now will work on getting sickbeard out on CSI. Updates will however for the time being come from CSI unlike the C/A200 who get updates built into the web interface. As these are updated regulary, i will only update CSI once a major update is done.

Great if it can work! It shouldn't be a problem to get it working on the A100 if it works on the A110 right?

Ive made a test install for CP, I would like an A1xx user to test it before i add it to CSI. The web interface is a little slower then the C200 version but not by much and wont rely matter once you have added your favs.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be in the vicinity of my A100 these days. Besides that I'm a complete noob on both Sickbeard and Couchpotato, since I thought they would only become interesting to me when they arrived for the PCH. So I won't be that good of a tester anyways. But if nobody comrd forward soon enough I can give it a try.

Thats ok Cherek, some one else is testing, he says the install went fine on his HDX1000. I would still like some one with an A100 to test the install as well but might now just go ahead and release it via CSI.

Couchpotato should follow soon after as the install method is much the same as sickbeard, so only requires a few tweeks.

I can confirm that this package installs fine on my HDX1000 (A110 equivalent) .. Only difference between the A110 and the HDX is that us poor HDX users are backlevel firmware due to HDX last release being March 2010..

I am using NZBGet 0.8.0 on the HDX and NZBMatrix/Astraweb

I have managed to struggle through the configuration and just now got Sickbeard to recognise a new episode on NZBMatrix. It got the nzb and fed it to NZBGet (I could see it download by logging into NZBGet web interface) ... The nzb was not loaded into the nzbget/nzb directory (dont know how Sickbeard pases these to NZBGet)

Download of the episode was fine .. NZBGet did all the postprocessing rather than Sickbeard ... so presumably to get Sickbeard to post process and rename etc I have to figure out how to turn that off in NZBGet ..

Question ... I have this set to download HD material .. is there any way to configure individual series ? (because some come SD only)

sickbeard passes the nzb to nzbget via nzbgets web server, if you want to download the nzb to the folder then change nzbget to blackhole and fill in the path(/share/Apps/NZBget/.nzbget/nzb)

Nzbget will always unrar, sickbeard does not unrar.
Sickbeard does rename and get extra info (pics ect)sound like not configured correctly.
In the config i have "TV Download Dir" set to "/share/Video/Download/Tv" (this is folder where nzbget unrars the finished file)
When you first add a show sickbeard will ask where to store the finished files(do not put same as above) I use "/share/Download/Tv/"

Using this setup, sickbeard sends nzb to nzbget, nzbget download and unrars to "/share/Video/Download/Tv" sickbeard looks in this folder (i think every 5 mins) if it finds a new show it will rename,download pictures and TVDB stuff then move it to my Tv shows folder "/share/Download/Tv/"

When you first add a show you have to go through 3 steps

1. Find the show(searches TVDB for a matching show)
2. Location of where to put finished show
3. Quality HD/SD or custom.
These then become you defaults, so that when you add anymore shows it will use the same options. If you need to change any settings all you need to do is after you find the show and select it from the list, dont click add show but click next twice, this will take you to the quality setting page again, choose the quality you need for that show, then click add show.

I hope this make thing a little clearer.

Both sickbeard and couchpotato have been released on CSI.
