ZappoTV iPhone App now supports PCH
Hi,
The ZappoTV app for iPhone (free) now supports the PCH. Check it out at http://www.zappo.tv Any comments, suggestions are highly appreciated! Cheers, JEEVO Some further information: ZappoTV is a mobile media center / remote control which can be used in conjunction with the Popcorn Hour. It provides an easy interface to watch video podcasts, YouTube, Flickr, Facebook Photos and Videos, iPhone Music / Photos / Videos, Picasa and material from your local (DLNA/UPnP) media servers on the Popcorn Hour. The current implementation of UPnP on the PCH has the limitation that GetPositionInfo does not work, therefore trickplay (scrubbing) is not available in the app. Cheers, JEEVO |

Hi, yes, works with both. We got reports from users with both 100 or 200 series PCH which are using ZappoTV.

I'm constantly getting "Error opening content.... the server is not properly configured" coming up on the ipad app. Their site doesnt really have any info to help so I wondered if anyone has a fix for this? Thanks |

That's unfortunate to hear that. Can you send the log to ZappoTV? That way we can check and see if we can fix this quickly server side. -> MyZappoTV / Settings / Send application log to ZappoTV. Thanks in advance! JEEVO |

Hi, we figured out why the content coming from the A200 UPnP AV Server cannot be played on the iPad (apart of course from the fact that some codecs are not supported natively by the iOS on the iPad.
It has to do with the fact that the movieplayer on the iPad needs the support for byte range requests from the server the content is coming from. It seems like the UPnP AV server on the PCH A200 does not support byte range requests. All other stuff should work fine, if you have any problems, let me know! Cheers, JEEVO |
