[A-100] Remote doesn't work HELP!!!!

HELP!!!! I've done several searches but can't find the answer. I have an A-100 with the latest firmware. It powers on, gets to the home screen, all drives load, then it precariously goes to the home screen of drive B (I use only external HD's on an external powered USB hub).

All of that seems fine except at no time does the remote work. After a short period of time the A-100 goes into screen saver mode.

Now I know the remote is sending a signal because it will still control my TV (it always has, just a coincidence). I have also checked it with an IR checker.

So that leaves the A-100 device itself. Has anyone else had this problem. It has been working fine with the current hard drives and hub for almost a year now. I use it almost every day and it has worked flawlessly until today.
