A110 HDMI Audio not working
Hello.
I've searched in the forum but not found solution about my problem. I've got A110 Popcorn hour, until now i was getting sound through optical fiber and was working fine. Now i've change amplifier for an newer one HDMI equipped and would use the audio of the popcorn using tha HDMI connection, so using HDMI Audio output of the Popcorn hour. But unfortunately, it's seems there is a problem with the HDMI AUDIO output. Can someone from Syabass confirm it's a known bug? Is there a solution? Or does Syabas plan to solve it soon? I'm using the latest firmware (april 2011) Thank You for answers and suggestions Olivier |

RE: A110 HDMI Audio not working
Hello Skulelr, than for your post.
Anyway, of course, I've already checked all obvious things such enable HDMI Audio, set to RAW supported audio format with the amplifier. And by the way, set audio format to PCM don't correct the problem. Anyone else with another idea ? Thank you (10-10-2011 12:53 AM)skulker Wrote:(10-09-2011 10:46 PM)OlivierS74 Wrote: Hello. |

I have the same audio defect: never a problem with composite connection, most of my videos give proper audio with HDMI connection, although some don't, and I can't seem to find the reason why... Any other suggestion? tnx Another halfelite suggestion was remux (some LOL releases have fucked up audio) and indeed that did the trick. I used Avi-Mux, standard settings, but now my sync is bad, hae to look at the settings, but tnx anyway. |

RE: A110 HDMI Audio not working
Seems to be an issue with the new encoders. If you reencode the files they work fine. I suspect we need to wait for an upgrade, but right now my A-110 is useless. Lucky my samsung tv can decode most files. The quick upgrades and support for codecs was why I first got my popcorn. Anyone know if it is a chipset problem or a software problem?
