How to use Sony TV remote with PCH

I can sync my PCH with my new sony hx923 but the PCH doesnt respond to my Sony remote.
Do I have to put a code in for the remote?

And will never will. Sony remotes are for Sony products only. If you want to be able to control both, purchase (a really good) universal remote, like a Harmony. Your Sony remote might be universal, but I doubt it would have codes for Syabas.

i'm not sure but i think this is not the trouth... sony uses the HDMI CEC Standard in Bravia sync. this means basic commands such as "start" "turn off" "play" "stop" should work even with no-sony devices.

However, as far as I know the PCH C-200 should be able to handle HDMI CEC but it was turned off due some problems?

I for myself still hope they will sooner or later activate it again...because i was using a harmony one, and went back to the sony standard remote, which now works very good on the PS3, A/V receiver and TV. the only thing missing is the PCH.
