3D BluRay Iso playback

I know there are media players that can play a bluray iso file with the menus and all, but is there one that can play 3D Bluray isos, with the image converted to TaB or SbS?

I know that there isn't any that can play full hd 3d, but I don't need it anyway since I have a passive 3d tv.

If you convert the full resolution 3D to half resolution SBS or TAB then the 200 or 300 can play it.

No Sigma chip can yet handle full resolution 3D. There is a new release Realtek chip however as no realtek chip player has a Bluray license or the right Bluray profile for full resolution 3D that is not giving the results that some thought they would get.

The vapourware Sigma 8910 chip has full 3D and other things we really want like VXP processing for those without a receiver in the setup. Sigma chips get Bluray license if the manufacturer decides to go for them plus the better picture quality.

By convert you mean DVDFab and similar programs? Ripping the iso and making an mkv file?

Can any media player convert the 3d bluray into a tab image on the fly? What I want is to give it the 3d bd iso and get a tab left&right image on the screen. That essentially isnt full hd 3d, is it? although you would need both images, and the iso can only provide them in full hd...

Nevertheless, is it possible? I want the bluray menus.

Either it can play full 3d bd iso or not. the picture quality is not as good for 3d bd iso playback as it will supp0osedly be on Sigma smp8910?

What about 3d bd players like oppo that can play 3d bd isos from connected ext. hdd. Even though I have 2 3dbd players I am thinking of just going the Oppo route if that works because at least then you know it will play it just like it does the disc with same quality. Dont think either my panasonic or samsung 3dbd can play full 3d bd iso from connected ext. hdd. I'm hoping for 2.5" usb powered hdd to work so i dont need to plug in an extra power cord.

If any 3d bd player can play full 3d bd iso from connected ext. hdd why is everyone even waiting for vaporware smp8910?

If one does as the oppo (and probably others) supposedly do then I would buy one and just maybe sell one of my 3d bd players that dont have the ability.

Only thing missing I imagine would be a yamj/xbmc jukebox interface to show cover/disc art and info etc. of the 3d bd iso you want to play. That would kind of suck to just play the file name like regular non yamj'd pch but if it works then it sure beats paying for bd-r's and burning just to preserve the original retail 3d bd from damage and kids etc. and the whole point of a digital backup is not to have to store another bulky disc and case etc.

because most people dont want to pay 599$ for the oppo to just play 15 or so 3d bd iso files. 3d is not a selling point for most its a bonus.

and the himedia and the kalibro or whatever it is have gotten horrible reviews on everything else

And there's no NFS and other things on the OPPO due to the Marvell chip. So it looses a lot fo features that are in cheaper players.
