Unfortunately I don't have any mp4's that short. So I tried to cut a 50MB portion from the beginning of one of the files using VideoReDo. To my surprise the resulting short file played just fine with the A-300, so I think it would not make much sense to upload that one. If you want me to upload the complete mp4 which is about 900Kb in size, just let me know.

Had a problem with updating movies which the NMJ couldn't identify himself, and with searching by IMDB number.
Both problems are fixed with the new FW, but;

-Updating some movies still gives me an "2 out of 3 items failed to update" error

It looks as if it has something to do with these movies having data in the database which isn't 100% clean anymore (in other words; previous attempts on renaming or downloading cover art)

PS: It turns out the movie info is actually updated to the correct data. It's only the art which is giving update problems. I can preview art while editing but after selecting one and pressing "Download" it fails to update.
So far only a art update error, which I can't link to any specific action or situation

i know that there are issues with our metadata server, our admin is informed, i hope that we can fix that as soon as possible.

I read 23.976 but wrote 29.970 and it was 29.970

But i found out that still is synced sub not synced after

just quick fyi

seems like the same heavy hitter problems are still there--

Pause a movie, (turned tv off), came back, could not unpause, had to hold down power (longer than normal on holding the button, almost unplugged it, but it did respond) & restart it

Resuming a movie with enter, the screen is usually black & no sound, workaround for me is to back up -30 secs

DTS channels are still wrong in downmix spdif out

(also I did not do a factory reset, SMB networking only to win2008r2 server, tv out set to 720p/60Hz)

ok, whats up with access to a SMB share on a synology NAS is only possible with the guest-account.
please fix this big painful problem.

Firmware uploaded oke.
I have it running and most of the things seem to run fine.

However, i'm experiencing network problems when i set the advanced network configuration from 10/100 to auto. In auto modus, it is possible to access the network folders and files. When I copy a file from the network the A300 slows down and eventually freezes.

I have a GB network with a Netgear W3500V2 router.

I hope it's possible to fix this problem.

Subtitle search for TV episodes is much better. Not sure if the fix was on OpenSubtitles API, or it was because of the new firmware... There are ocasional timeouts, but that's because OpenSubtitle's web server is crap.

I am still sometimes having problems with the delete dialog.



Altough there's a text highlight on YES (brighter text), the button highlight stays on the NO button.

If I move back to NO, and then back to yes, the button highlight moves accordingly.

I'm going to have to ask, what is this need to personally address your posts to Werner? Are you saying the rest of the forum should just ignore your posts? Are you expecting Werner to monitor each of your posts and respond to each of them personally?
If you want to only address something to Werner use the PM system not the open forum.

better post under Bug section maybe it would be good to have a major bug thread for aggregation issues were someone would add wrong titles to first post always, so we can easy have it on one place.

If I want to adress a special bug or something I want to specially tell werner in a thread and do it open so all other can read it of interest
