Quote:Are you using windows & putty tools? If yes, you could try to install busybox from CSI, than try again.Busybox was installed. I'm now using Putty as before I was using CMD (as I said, I'm new to this stuff ).I tried /share/Apps/TorrentExpander/bin/torrentexpander.sh and navigated to a torrent. The I get the following: Code: Your Unrar path is incorrect or permissions are incorrect please edit your torrentexpander_settings.ini file or edit your permissions |

Have you been able to log in with the nmt user to do more testing ? Yeah.. this is something tricky. You can't su to the nmt user. But the samba and nfs server run as nmt, so not running transmission as nmt causes permission issues. What might be the root of the issue here is that the telnet user runs with a different busybox than the torrentexpander shell script when executed from Transmission. This is especially true on the A-110 where the telnet busybox is quite complete and the basic busybox that transmission (and thus torretnexpander) uses is very limited. |

RE: Torrentexpander: automatic renamer | build .nfo | download poster & fanart | NMJ
bassie112, the error message you have seen while manually running torrentexpander.sh points to a permissions error.
This error message is only displayed if unrar cannot be found or if it cannot be executed by the current user. Can you use the "id" command while connected with putty ? The root user should not experience such an error, so I'm really surprised Thanks DathRarhek for these explanations I officially have no idea on how to make sure torrentexpander.sh can be run by the nmt user if I can't run it manually. Anybody got a great idea that would help us get out of this pickle ? This is getting too technical for me :-( Thanks Toitoinou aka addictedtoscreens |

Updated to 124. Still the script doesn't kick in with the "$TR_TORRENT_DIR/$TR_TORRENT_NAME" in the transmission config. Without it does kick in, but it doesn't unpack (again). It only copies a 0-bytes file without extension in the working dir, but sometimes nothing. Copying of non-packed files works but not as expected: it copies the output files under the working dir but also another copy in a subdirectory of the working dir. This is not really a problem, the failing unpacking however is
. Maybe there is something else wrong with my NMT, although I don't have any issues. I will test some more..setupresult: Code: Information: transmission is installed |

As i remember, you are using a specific set of folder to manage your download. Could you post your Transmission download dir path, your Torrentexpander default path, and all the other specific paths (Music, Film, series, ...).

I don't see any errors on the installation. There was a previous installation leftout for ca-certificates, if perl has been installed, I think the issue will be solved.

In short: Transmission incomplete=/share/Download/Torrents/Incomplete Transmission complete=/share/Download/Torrents/Complete TorrentExpander: /share/Download/Torrents/Extracted Specific files (doesn't work, I use it to test): /share/Download/Torrents/Ready If there is a problem then it's the non-standard transmission path I presume. Also because the path specific commands of Torrentexpander don't work in the transmission config . |

RE: Torrentexpander: automatic renamer | build .nfo | download poster & fanart | NMJ
@Jannyy
The problem was unrar4 which I manually updated over local unrar 3.9. After revert back to original one all seems to be ok and torrentexpaner is installed. Now will try to downlad smtg via transmission and see how it works. I also added a line to download polish subtitles and convert them to srt to nmj update script which I was using till now with scan.sh script Thanks for Yours help btw unrar 4 is 20% faster than 3.9, is there a possibility to update local unrar to newer version? UPDATE After some test I can say that script is working fine. The only problem I have that its instead of moving just copy movie files to Video\Movies (in options I choose move) and not all of my movies were copied say 70% were copied. Also script messed a lot with Boardwalk Empire series when it copied all but created 7 or 8 folders with the same name with 1 file in each. To delete them I had to change file permissions. All test I did using console so I don't know how it will work with transmission |

RE: Torrentexpander: automatic renamer | build .nfo | download poster & fanart | NMJ
Thank you Lukjod !
Jannyy and I have spend a lot of time trying to make sense of these installation issues. Regarding your update, I think this needs clarifying : If the third_party_log feature (useful with flex get, for example) is enabled or if you're running the script manually, the movies_post, tv_whows_post and music_post will switch to copy instead of move. Why ? Only because I thought that if you're running the script manually to expand a torrent to a specific directory, you expect the file to appear in the selected directory, not only in the movies_post you defined earlier in your settings.ini If you feel that the user should be able to alter this comportment within the "GUI", please create a new issue in the project page http://code.google.com/p/torrentexpander/issues/list Also, regarding the movies that were not copied, you need to know that torrentexpander.sh expects one of the following patterns to recognize the file as a movie : HDTV,DVDRip,BDRip,BRRip,DVDR,720p,1080p,HD1080p,TS,TVRip,DVDSCR,R5,Workprint,SCR,Screener,HDRip,DVDScreener If you notice some missing patterns, please add them to this issue page : http://code.google.com/p/torrentexpander...tail?id=36 Finally, regarding Boardwalk Empire, please let me know what the initial filenames were. It looks like the script failed to recognize a series pattern but found a movie pattern I've planned to extend the list of series patterns, but I experienced mixed results and false positives. RE: Torrentexpander: automatic renamer | build .nfo | download poster & fanart | NMJ
@ toitoinou
Thanks for all clarifications, As I've just tested script for my existing library all my names were prepared earlier by using therenamer. So all my titles wer prepared as title (YYYY) (720p) and cleaned from additional info like The Scorpion King 3 Battle For Redemption (2012) . My Tv series folder name is Boardwalk Empire and content is formatted as Boardwalk Empire S02E01.avi or Boardwalk Empire S02E10 (720p).mkv. Now I will test torrentexpander more thoroughly when I will download some movies by transmission. Also I want to ask how it will react on transmission downloaded files with software inside when after unpack it will get iso or other image files?. I deleted in ini config file iso so it should not touch it and leave in download folder instead of moving it to expanded right? UPDATE There is something worng with rar packed files. Here is error info, beside this unpacked file content works ok. Code: <der.sh /share/Download/"Los Numeros (2011) [DVDRip.XviD.AC3] [PL] [MIX]rar" -c |
