MiOS Home Automation
Hi! I really hope I didn't overlook this in another thread somewhere, I did search and couldn't find anything.

A few months back I was really excited to hear the MiOS Home Automation has launched on Popcorn Hour and Popbox products, specifically the C-200. There were several media releases about it, but I haven't heard anything since. Some articles mentioned that an inexpensive z-wave extender would be required. I'd love to get this setup! Anyone know any more about this?

Found this on the MiOS wiki, but no updates:

Uh oh... I'm guessing by the lack of response to this thread that this may have been a flop? No support for this? I really hope not, the release sure made it sounds like a done deal.

I was looking for the same answer over at the PopBox Forum:

Since I didn't get any answer I decided to start developing a plugin for the MicasaVerde's Vera. Today i released the first basic version:

But up to now it has only been tested with a PopBox v8.

RE: MiOS Home Automation
Hi There.

Not sure I understood the end result of this thread. So is there an app I can install on my PCH-C200 that will allow me to control my Z-Wave network?

I currently have a Z-wave network with Think Essentials installed on my PC and would love another interface to it from my C200.

Carl.

xml examples:

PCH C200 (Set to 10/100), Synology NAS CS407 (4 X 2TB WD Black)
PCH A-400 , Synology NAS DS1512+ (4 X 3TB WD Red)
Boxee Box, MediaGate 800HD (Remember those?)

Gigabit Wired Network, Onkyo TX-NR1008, Samsung 58C8000 Plasma
Oppo BDP83, Samsung BD-C6900, BoxeeBox

No, it's the other way arround. There's no app to install on your mediabox to control zwave devices. But if you use a micasaverde's vera zwave gateway (I can not post the links since then my posts are regognized as spam => stupid!!) you can install a plugin on the vera which allows to control your mediabox and reads out states of the mediabox.
