How is a movie identified as an HD?
I am not sure it is a problem just with the new version, but I have a number of 720p movies (mkv format) that don't show the "HD" writing on them and are not categorized into the HD category. How is it determined whether the movie is HD or not?

You should have put that in the YAMJ thread, or at least named it in your title.
Based on movie resolution scanned by mediainfo, a movie is flagged 720 (1280w*720h) if its width is larger than 720 (as DVD are 720w x 576h max). A movie is flagged 1080 (1920w*1080h) if its width is larger than 1280 (as HD 720 are 1280w x 720h max). The HD logo is put on the thumbnail if the movie was flagged as 720 or 1080. Are you sure your MKV files are HD? Are you sure you're using mediainfo in YAMJ? (easy to check : do you have media infos like width x height resolution on the detail page?) |
