Not Seeing HDD anymore

hello guys over the weekend i had my Pch A-110 hooked up to my pc to transfer some new files via Usb i use EX2FSB to read the internal HDD on my PCH, for some reason windows 7 was not seeing the internal hdd at all for some reason, i finally gave up, and took my PCH back to my tele, when i booted up the PCH, i just see network NO internal Hdd,so i decided to try a usb flashdrive that worked, i also updated to the latest firmware still no luck, the hdd seem to be working in PCH because i can hear it spin up, but it wont detect it.i tried another hdd with movies on the PCH via usb and it worked, i think the info on the Hdd maybe corrupted, is there any software i can use to test if the Hdd is working through windows? or maybe a live cd? thanks in advance hope to hear from someone soon

UPDATE: i tried putting HDD im my pc connected to SATA and tried booting with Gparted, however i am not seeing the HDD in my bios or gparted, i can here the drive spin up, but dont see the hdd listed, iam going to try another ITB HDD in my PCH, and see what happens, hope i can still save this Hdd i'll keep you guys updated.


UPDATE 2:well i tried another HDD on PCH, and the new one showed up, so its down to a faulty or almost dead HDD? anyone have any software i can try to atleast recover my data?

hey Quitedk, thanks for the app, but my problem is i DONT see the HDD in windows, the last thing i did was put the HDD all alone in my windows box, booted up with Gparted, then i saw what looked like a little partition about 113megs and it says unallocated i dont want to lose my info can someone help me please?

Have you tried installing this software? Maybe it enables you to see your HDD in Windows?

yip just tried the software in windows NO Hdd Present, the only time i saw anything was when the PCH HDD was in my other pc all by itself, i did see a small 113meg partition that i could not do anthing with it, i tried to rescue the partion with Gparted, still no go, i need some EXPERT advice here please.

Can you make a screenshot of Gparted, where you see that 113mb partition? It's strange one partition would be accesible while the others are gone.
