Why should I buy A-300?
Hello,
I am looking at A-300 specification and can't find any major features which would push me to upgrade from my A-110. Maybe someone would post any advantages of A-300 comparing with A-110? The A-110 do not have rewind option for MKV files. Is this option available in A-300? |

compare the specifications..... if the differences don't mean anything to you..... then don't buy a new NMT...

You cannot be reading into the players specs much.
BD ISO/BDMV playback. Faster processor, gigabit, faster transfers/streaming, NMJ etc. etc. As Willem says these may not be important to you. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

Rewind is available in the 200 series, so I imagine it's there in the 300 (probably smoother with the extra horsepower too).

HD Audio with MKV was a 200 series thing as well, so as you mentioned MKV you will be able to get DTS-HD/TrueHD if you use HDMI.
Also multichannel decoding of WMA and AAC audio was paid for by Syabas and is in the firmware from 200 series onwards.
