Voltage question
Can I use a 14-volt transformer for the A-100? My 12-volt is broken thanks to lightning.

Not with a HDD installed. The 12 V from the external supply is directly connected to the HDD. 14 V is outside the specification for the 12 V line to the HDD.
Without a HDD it might work since all other voltages are generated locally by the PCH from the input voltage. To be absolutely sure you have to check the data sheets for the components connected to the input voltage. |
