Thanks for the update, Werner. Looking forward to it and hope it solves some of my issues.

As a new member to the Popcorn Hour Owners Club (A-300), I've experienced a few bugs but nothing that radically prevents me from doing what I want, and what the player was actually built to do... play media!

The fact that there is direct correspondence and updates from the manufacturers is very welcome.
Some people are never happy. Whilst the support and development continues, we should all be positive.

Hi everyone,

Long time ago, Werner announced html 5 support in next firmware release for 300 series.

"It will have a part of the browser to just access our webapps site with some html5 sites optimized for tv use, after that we will add also a full version of the html5 browser were you can browse the net"

From what I see in changelog from C-300 that did not make it in the update, right ? Will that ever make it to the 300 series ? Men I miss Oversight so much...

When I say Hardware is the same between A-300 and C-300 , I mean they have the same power (same processor sigma 8647 , same memory , etc...) , I understand there is some difference between the two players.

Firmware threads are for reporting bugs in the firmware so devs can easily see them. If you want to post your comparison do so in a different thread. We tend to move non specific things out of the firmware thread.
