Is anyone still maintaining NZBGET?

I have problems with Local and NZBget working together

When I have Local running on my NMT the NZBget web gui stops displaying properly.

Does anyone know why Local could be doing this or could it be one of the programs within Local?

Any help would be great

Have you got lightpd installed as this caused errors for me with webui's.

Yes I think so... What would I have used this for?.. I'm sure it was requested to be installed for something!

I use NZBget, Oversight, SB and CP only.. is it needed for those?

you would installed it for aeon oversight but i dont think its needed now

Remember nzbget is not a Syabas/PCH piece of software, it has its own site;

Atinkler, did you remove/uninstall lightpd and if so did it fix your issues? All i know is that is has caused me loads of problems in the past and once i tracked it down to lighttpd have never installed it since even tho CSI used to nag users to install it.

Thanks Chris, i have not checked for an updated nzbget for a while and see that there is a new version 0.8.0_r407, i will start working on a release for CSI.

I believe NZBget is made by midgetspy,
he has been around on the NMT forums for a while.

He was on the forum a lot when usenet downloads were added tot he NMT Apps back in the early 100 series days.

From memory Hugbug will only support pure nzbget issues and not NMT environment conflicts. - A sensible decision, if memory serves me right.

as far as I know the original nzbget CSI install was re-packaged by Ger Teunis, CSI author.

If the nzbget package works on a vanilla NMT then I suspect the onus is on others to assist in resolving any conflicts with other packages ?

Ah, I think you'd be filling a gap - Ger is not so active here, so it seems like you are the nmt+nzbget go-to guy

I alway try to help when i can. I started here knowing nothing about linux and scripts but now know a little more then the average user so try to help out, mainly with NZB stuff as thats where most of my skills are.

If i don't get any objections i will release both versions on CSI tomorrow.
