YAMJ System resources usage
Any idea how much of the NMT's resources does YAMJ + Eversion + evZap use? I run a PCH-300 with a windows 7 media storage pc.
I have an issue where my movies stutter when played from YAMJ, but when accessing the movies directly from my share disk they play fine. Jukebox has been installed both on the PCH's internal hard disk and on a PC in the network and have had the same results. Are there any settings in YAMJ + Eversion + evZap that might help minimize how much systems resources are used? |

try the experimental version and see if that helps: http://forum.dentedboxes.com/thread-1431.html it's trying a different method to launch video that I think it closer to how the 300 interface does it.

Installed YAMJ + Eversion and extracted the experimental version on to YAMJ into \yamj\skins. Ran the GUI and the scan. Built the Jukebox and seems to be running faster. Will test longer and then instal evZap.

Did it make a difference on playback which is what your thread is about. btw there was no reason to re-setup your yamj for it, it should have been a simple unzip, enjoy upgrade. |
