A200 - Request Cannot Be Processed
Hi,
for some time now [but far from the time I purchased the device] I've been getting VERY annoying "Request cannot be processed" messages when I wake the device from sleep. Does anyone have any idea why I keep getting it? It says to press the return button but even after pressing it a few times, NOTHING happens. I have to power down the device and start it up again. And because I use a Harmony remote, I have to get the factory remote each time to power it down. How do I solve this? Please help, it's driving me mad. If it helps, I do access the device via my PC, to upload files onto the device or play them on my computer. Here's a [bad] picture of it: ![]() Thank you. |

RE: A200 - Request Cannot Be Processed
your going to need to give a lot more info on this.. nobody has any clue what you are in when you shutdown for the nigt, if there's network shares of computers you turned off involved, etc etc etc.. This might be only you experiencing it. Give a good rundown of your setup, how you use it, where you leave it when you turn off for the evening.
The harmony remote is programmable so not sure your point on "having to get the ffactory remote" to deal with this.. Also there's buttons like source, home, etc which would bring you back to the menu. rebooting is a little overkill in this case. |

RE: A200 - Request Cannot Be Processed
Can you shutdown the device woth software buttons? You couldn't a while back. And I can't do anything when this screen pops up. I can enter the setup screen, and exit it back to this. That's it. No home, no source. When I put the NMT to sleep i'm usualy in the folder of the last movie I was viewing. I don't use apps.
I just rechecked it now: 1. Power on the tv and set the correct input 2. Wake my A200 3. Get Request cannot be processed right away A) Pressing Source only brings up "Web Services" B) Home is the one with the "little house" ? Does not do anything. I get that little processing "wheel" in upper left corner but norhing happens. C) I can press Return a few times and get the same processing wheel, but after a few presses that goes away too. |

RE: A200 - Request Cannot Be Processed
What video resolution do you use? I do get an error like yours sometimes. I use 576p and when I push any of the buttons Red/Green/Blue/Yellow I get this error because these buttons should launch NMJ and that is not supported in SD mode.

RE: A200 - Request Cannot Be Processed
Okay, so I went back to stock TV and Popcorn remotes, set the resolution back to 576 and pressed the red button. Got the Request cannot be preocessed message. And just as before, I couldn't cancel it. No matter how many times I pressed return.
So I rebooted the NMT, set the resolution back to 720p now, and put the NMT to sleep. I'll do some real world usage now (transfer a few files onto the NMT, watch a movie off it and so on), then report back if it happens again after I wake it up again. With stock remotes. Then I'll retry with my Harmony One. Your solution does make sense though, VYP. I went back to 576 a little while back, as I had to resort to composite video until I get a new more modern TV. Had not known I can set to 720p even when using this kind of connection. And as I said, this problem isn't that old I just couldn't work out what had I done that made it go ape, or if it could be a hardware problem. Anyway, is this works you're getting a hardy pat on the back. Thanks! You Sir, are a genius! I did a test using stock remotes and my Harmony remote, and wouldn't you know it, when starting everything with my Harmony remote after the device woke up, I got asked if I wanted to create a NMJ. Unbelievable, need to recalibrate my Harmony. Thank you!! |
