Bierdopje auto-sub for A-110
Hi,
I got bierdopjes' auto-sub python script running on my PCH A-110 and I thought it might be a good idea to share it with the community. So here's my first effort in making a CSI compatible zipfile. Download File - 836.5 Kb (UPDATED FILE) Please let me know if this is helpful or improvements could me made / are required :-) UPDATE: there are some problems with the install. please only use it if you know how to fix it. Am trying to get it working (again) myself... Sorry for the inconvenience!!! Sorry forgot to inform you: it will require opkg to run the Python script. However, it should check whether or not it is installed and when needed download and install it. It will scan the Tv folder on the internal harddisk. To change this alter the ROOTPATH entry in the config.properties file e.g.: rootpath = /opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/Tv |

RE: Bierdopje auto-sub for A-110
Wow, that is great! I will try it at home to use this to install it on my A100. I will ise it for my CouchPotato downloads.
Is it possible to update the python script myself using new releases from bierdopje? Or do you need to make specific changes to the python file? And last question: is it added to the scheduler, i.e. will it run every 8 hours or so? |

The updates should work from the GUI itself :-) use: http://IPaddressOfNMT:8083 Alternatively you could also extract the code from code.google.com/p/auto-sub. However, be sure to make a backup of the config.properties! Last, but not least. Yes it is added to the scheduler. |

Here, the install does not proceed after selecting the zip file.
If I can help you to fix this, please tell me. I'm looking forward to the next version :-)! |

It seems there were additional files in the tar embedded in the zip file (DS store and some OSX stuff). I removed those last night, but I still get the 'file not found' error. Am unsure if there is any additional logging I could look into. |

Just to let you know, the tar file is not right, it should just contain the files but as it is now contains a folder then the files.
Also the A1xx's are very picky about how the tar file is built, try using IZarc from http://www.izarc.org/ My Popcorn Hour A110 Trakt.tv (TESTING)

Removed the additional files and redid the tar, but still no joy. Will try it with the IZarc as well, but since it doesn't work on OSX I need to get the old laptop up and running :-) |

Hi, just updated the ZIP file with the TAR inside it. Haven't tested it yet, because I am @work :-(. |

RE: Bierdopje auto-sub for A-110
I was able to install auto-sub for downloading Dutch subtitles for TV series. I will describe here how I have done this.
This manual is for a large part based on the manual I found at http://www.mdevries.org/synology_autosub.html. First, make sure ' local' is installed, using the CSI installer. After that, make sure python is installed. Everything about 'local' can be found here, so I will not go into details here. Auto-sub requires Python Cheetah, which can be found here. Please turn to the manual for installation details. When running python, you might get an error Code: can't load library 'libsocket.so.0'Then go to the parentfolder in which AutoSub will be installed. A folder for AutoSub is created automatically. Execute the following code Code: wget http://auto-sub.googlecode.com/files/auto-sub.Beta.0.5.6.zipUnpack the ZIP file with Code: unzip auto-sub.Beta.0.5.6.zipWhen no longer needed, the ZIP file can be deleted using Code: rm auto-sub.Beta.0.5.6.zipGo into the auto-sub folder and start the app, for me the startup code is Code: /share/Apps/local/bin/python AutoSub.pyFirst time you will get some errors, just ignore them. Using your browser, goto http://<IP-of-NMT>:8083 Go to the config section and add at least path and Rootpath, where Code: path = /path/to/auto-subSave the configfile and restart AutoSub. Now your good to go! Subtitles will be downloaded, even when the original files have been renamed. For configuration details of AutoSub, see the Wiki TODO: create autorun script [UPDATE] Well, this is bizar. Suddenly AutoSub starts updating the database and generates an error and will not run any longer. Some more digging to do ![]() [UPDATE 2] I was able to work-around this issue by adding Code: return truePosted this as issue 164 on http://code.google.com/p/auto-sub/issues/detail?id=164 [UPDATE 3] The webclient is really slow, almost unusable. By checking the log file I can see that autosub IS running. |

RE: Bierdopje auto-sub for A-110
I am not a Linux expert, so can someone please create an startup script for autosub and tell me how to install it?
it should contain Code: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/share/Apps/local/libThanks! |
