/etc refreshed on restart
Hello,
On a A110 I have observed that the /etc folder gets refreshed on NMT reboot. Any reason for the same, or how the same can be avoided. -jampot31 |

RE: /etc refreshed on restart
Thanks for the prompt response.
Well, I needed to have some sort of startup script in /etc/profile, hence was looking at editing it. However I added a line invoking the same in start_apps.sh, so my problem at hand got taken care of. However this question was more from someone who has used Linux servers were /etc is mounted in the root filesystem and is on drive. Under that presumption I was inquisitive. Time on unlearn stuff I believe for now I am good. |
