XBMC-like Python Scripts possible ?
Hi,
As an oldtime user of XBMC i thought of the Python scripts used on the XBMC. Would it no be a good idea to have some application that runs Python scripts on the A100 just like XBMC on the XBOX? This way more people would get involved, since scripting is easier to do than programming an app from scratch every time somebody wants some app. Once the initial work is done , programming an environment aka XBMC (but then only for the scripts part), people can more easily attribute to the success of the A100. Just like on XBMC these scripts would need to have access to some sort of GUI API which would ofcourse include the ability to make e.g buttons, play files, do GET's etc. rgrds Mike PCH-A110 , C-200, Pioneer PDP-LX5090H , Pioneer SC-LX72  ,Vifa Premium 22 XT, Peerless XLS-10 Sub |

This is what I mean by PLUGIN API.
In genereal, C base api is best way for me, but using some higher programming language (python, pike, java ...) would be good too |

pch itself does php obviously, and you can compile python etc yourself.
llink can run external commands, and I'm hoping to make it real easy to run script but display as media |
