Newbee here, I just got my popcorn yesterday.
I have been reading a lot on this forum but maybe I missed it but I did not find much info on this. Is this possible? Possible without installing an internal hd in the pch, I guess not? I guess if there is an internal hd, a vnc server could be installed, could a vnc vieuwer then command the pch? I am a programmer so I don't mind / would love to make my own user interfaces. Just asking, thanks. |

To answer my own question, I have had a bit succes on my ubuntu hardy desktop using these two:
http://www.cidero.com/mediaController.html http://ushare.geexbox.org/ The latter is in the ubuntu repositories. The first has a windows version too. I could select a movie from my ubuntu pc and the pch would say 'start buffering' then a black screen and a pch reset was needed. It's a start but no meat yet. |
