PopCorn Buffering ..... COULD NOT PLAY error

Hello all,

Just got rid of my Tomacro, and just received my PCH.

The problem i have though, is that even though I can see all the files on the network, on the External HDD, I cant play a single Video File. whether its .avi, or .MKV, or even the stuff from YouTube or Google Video... nada.

I managed to play some audio tracks from my library, but also not all MP3, and not all wma.

I am connected via HDMI only to my TV. connected via LAN, directly to my router.

FW version is pop-402-069

HELP???????

How are you streaming to the PCH ?

BTW, i got rid of the problem by simply hard shutting down, and restarting. Works flawlessly now.

I'm having a similar problem, but only playing avi files produced with DV1 codec (originally shot with a mini-Dv camera and edited with Videostudio).
Other files play OK, but I don't have any MKV files.
The message BUFFERING comes out and then the PCH just freezes

The PH does not support playback of DV codec.

I had this same problem too - had to unplug and replug in the AC adapter and then it worked afterwards...

if reaching for the power cord is difficult, try resetting via the remote.

power + eject button...
