no files playing
bS,
I tried that a couple of time; no luck. I could try to reload the FW, but as now everything is working fine. I will stay with the old FW until next update... Popcornhour team, do you have any suggestion? |

No files playing
Thanks for the reply.
I just have the A100 connected to an external HDD (Samsung Spinpoint T 400GB) in a USB2 enclosure and I'm streaming those files from it. No internal HDD and not network connection. I used the same USB-HDD to update the firmware. Rgds |

I also cannot use my External USB 2 HDD
I have a Lacie 1.8 Terrabite external hard drive. It works 100% of the time with the old firmware and works 0% of the time with the new firmware. I have 2 PH units and the result is the same...
Both have Internal HDD (300G Maxtor) and network connecting set to Auto. I do not use Torrent at all... |

01-15-080117-14-POP-402-000
Hi Guys, I can confirm that I have just downloaded the latest Beta Firmware 01-15-080117-14-POP-402-000 (Release Date : 18 January 2008). I installed & tried out flac support which works a treat on nfs shares. However when trying to play through mihome .flac files are not recognised at all. When opening a folder containing 14 flac files all I see is a blank folder. Not too much of a biggy I suppose but it seems quite strange that they are seen & played flawlessly through nfs shares.

What other improvements have they made in the new firmware? internal subs? time seek in mkv? |

By the way - could you check other known issues with this FW? |

And here's the files you need to tweak in myihome for flac support:-
C:\Program Files\myiHome\webapps\ROOT\xml\video.xml C:\Program Files\myiHome\webapps\ROOT\application\video\xml\extension.xml C:\Program Files\myiHome\webapps\ROOT\xml\music.xml C:\Program Files\myiHome\webapps\ROOT\application\music\xml\audioext.xml Internal subs (english) are working fine in mkv now. No mkv timesearch but it is mentioned as nearly there and should be in the next beta release
