Nothing will play

I have had the PCH for about a month, it was working great but now it will not play anything. If I try and play a DVD directory or AVI from either the local or external drive, I will either see no signal on my TV and I have to reboot to get back to the menu or it will just bounce me back to the PCH menu. I have even tried videos from youtube...they all just kick me back to the menu.
It worked for a short time after the new firmware update, I even reinstalled the Firmware update but no change.
I tried to reformat the local drive to reinstall the NMT apps, but it will not complete the install. I just get told there are no updates.

PLEASE HELP...I HAVE BECOME ADDICTED TO MY PCH AND NEED IT BACK

If you have been playing with telnet you could look at this

If you don't use telnet on a file that doesn't take you back to the menu, use the setup key and see if you can control the various settings.

never used telnet on the pch...and nothing will play so I can't use setup to try anything. From your other post, sometimes it will show the buffering screen for a split second but most times it just kicks back.

I just rolled back to 01-17-080612-15-POP-402 and everything is working. Doesn't make much sense since I was able to play my same files w/ the 01-17-080812-15-POP-402 Firmware for a week or so before everything stopped playing. Not sure if anyone else had the same issue.
