USB HDD not working

have been trying toget my A110 working but had no luck.

I have two USB HHD:
1: Western Digital My Passport Essential 160GB \ FAT32
2: 80 GB IDE 2.5 in USB Caddy \ NTFS

firstly it doesn't even pick up drive 1 at all. When I plug it in nothing changes in the main menu.This drive did work on the A100.

and drive 2 does come up and files are listed, but will not play anything. screen just goes black for a split second and it goes back to the files list. Also drive did work in A100.

Anyone else had the same issue?

The Drive that does get picked up .. Make sure its plugged into the USB and then reboot the PCH. I have the same symptoms if I dont have the USB plugged in when booting up the PCH ..

And use a short a USB cable as possible as I saw a post from a member who got his to work by using a short usb cable as oppoed to say a 1metre one.
