Cant view .iso files with myihome 4.9.1

Hi all,

Problem:
Cant view .iso files when browsing folders on Popcorn Hour A-100 on my Vista system. Works on XP, just dont want to hussle with moving files back and forth.

My network setup:
2 systems one with xp and other with vista. Using the myihome 4.91 on both for streaming movies through a D-link router to my Popcorn Hour A-100.

Popcorn firmware:

Release Date : 22 Aug 2008
Firmware Version : 01-17-080812-15-POP-402
NMT Apps Version : 00-17-080808-15-POP-402

Tried the 5.0.2 aswell. Issue still remains.

ISO isn't a supported format for myiHome, check the specs. MyiHome is a http streamer and normally you can't play iso over this protocol. Well, you can with llink and WizD, sort of.

You could map a share with SMB and play the iso's that way.

MyIhome does not support playback of .ISO files, never has, neither from Vista nor from XP
Its a limitation in the way HTTP servers like MyIhome works.
You need direct file access to see or play an .ISO - direct file assess can only be from internal disc, usb disc, smb or nfs network share.

I dont know what you mean when saying it works on XP cause that is not possible.

Ur right, the .iso files that could be played on the Popcorn Hour A-100 was acctually linked to the folder directly or should I say browsed to.

But I can´t seem to do this with the Vista system. I get to the part where it says Network Browser/Workgroup/Computername.. and no subfolders. Even though I have right clicked and shared the folders on the system. Also rebooted system and Popcorn Hour A-100 to sync. Nogo..

Am I missing anything when I select share?

Read [V] [ ]

Any clues?
