A110. Is something misconfigured? DVD's play really nice on PCH but

MP3 music 128k they sound distorted. If i turn up the volume they get really nasty. but DVD rips sound really nice.

Is there a configuration i am missing for PCH for MP3 playback?

I have the same problem but then for the A100. Since the last upgrade to 1-17-080812-15 the audio play's terrible. This applies also for wav files. The sound when playing movie's is good.
Is there a sollution for this problem?

are you going into the red area of volume, because this is an boost area which can make sound disorted? so best settings are to set to Volume 44.

Thanks. This solved the problem. I normally controll the volume by my receiver so I never tried this.
