What exactly are the supported formats?
I'm a bit unclear, the FAQ mentions .sub format being supported, as well as the product spec, but then I see some posts that say the .sub format is NOT supported. I guess I can confirm that .sub support does NOT work, since it, well, isn't working!
Are there any plans in the future for proper .idx & .sub support?

RE: What exactly are the supported formats?
There are four types of subtitles that unimaginatively use SUB as their extension. MicroDVD and MPSub and Subviewer SUB files are text-based, while VobSub SUB+IDX pairs are bitmaps. PCH doesn't yet support the graphic type (it's being worked on), it does support MicroDVD text-type, and I don't know about the other two text types.
